7. NES Advantage

The NES had a basic but serviceable controller that sadly didn't make this list but its big brother the NES Advantage did, thanks to several unique features. Not least of which was it looked like a real arcade cabinet joystick and all kids wanted at the time was a true arcade game at home - the Advantage brought that dream closer. Several "cheating" options were also available including variable speed turbo buttons and a bizarre slow motion feature that simply emulated pressing the menu button rapidly thus slowing the game down.
