Twenty combatants entered the controller arena and even taking into account all of the innovations, the incredible designs and inspired choices that the makers made, somehow the keyboard and mouse combination comes out on top. Nothing is as accurate as a mouse for aiming, and the keyboard offers more buttons than even Steel Battalion's monster can conjure. And so ever since the mouse entered the gaming space it - in tandem with the humble keyboard - has remained the best way to navigate outer space, kill enemies in the line of duty and play just about any darn game in town.
