20 Best Video Games Of The Last 20 Years

16. Rocket League

Rocket League

Speaking of rather good multiplayer, Rocket League is one little game that came out of nowhere and dominated 2015.

Thanks to a sumptuous and endlessly playable combination of Havok physics and football, you had the quintessential ingredients for newcomers and hardcore players alike. Better yet, thanks to the unpredictability of dynamic physics, Rocket League manages to replicate the real-world feeling of connecting foot to leather and actually scoring a goal - something the 'proper' sports games like FIFA and Madden aren't anywhere near.

You never see it coming, not really, yet when you manage to pull off anything from a halfway line screamer to more advanced shots like mid-air twirls and rooftop celebration slides, you'll be dancing around the room like a stadium's worth of fans have your back.
