20 Best Wii U Games Of All Time
19. Yoshi’s Woolly World
It's impossible to hate Yoshi's Woolly World.
It has one of the most charming art styles ever seen in a video game, and fun gameplay that builds off of the great Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Oh, and if one Woolly Yoshi wasn't good enough, there's more.
Every level has an unlockable Yoshi. These are pretty cool but not as awesome as Amiibo Yoshi. The Wii U was the peak of Amiibo, they were used with basically every first-party Nintendo game on the system and Yoshi's Woolly World has one of the best implementations of all. Simply scan an Amiibo and get that character in Yoshi form, they're so cute.
Also, this still isn't on the Switch. Yeah there's Yoshi's Crafted World but that doesn't make this game obsolete like many Switch sequels to Wii U games do, in fact, Yoshi's Woolly World is much better than Crafted World.
Yeah, there's a 3DS port of Woolly World but the definitive version of this game is still on the Wii U which isn't something you can say about many games nowadays.
