6. Hijacking The Train

For the second of GTA IV's DLC packs, the Grand Theft Auto series took a turn back towards its more bombastic side following a slight tone-down in ridiculousness for the main game. Nowhere was this better summed up than in a genuine train robbery, late on in the new content's story.

In this mission, Yusuf Amir has Luis jump onto a moving Liberty City train and make his way to the head in order to unlink the front carriage. This is done as Yusuf, an immensely rich man, wants to own the carriage for himself.

The mission itself is simply ridiculous, with the motivations for Luis and Yusuf alike being worryingly simple given what they're about to pull off. Standing atop the train and blasting police helicopters out of the sky - all in the name of extended excess - is a true microcosm to represent the greed at the centre of the series.
