20 Biggest WTF Moments In Pokémon History

19. Pokémon Dash Proving To Be Outsourced Rubbish

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company have mostly managed to keep a vice-like grip on the creation of video game properties under this mammoth franchise. Few are the instances where control has been wrestled away, and it's with damn good reason that that is the case.

As 2004 turned to 2005, Ambrella brought Pokémon Dash to Nintendo DS players. Essentially the game involved using the device's stylus to guide a Pikachu around various obstacle courses in what proved to be one of the worst and laziest uses of touch screen implementation that the Pokémon series has seen to date.

Pokémon Dash was a game that probably should never have been made, and it's certainly not one that should have been outsourced in the way that it was. The tie-ins to the franchise have always had mixed fortunes, and this represented the lowest of the low.

But why was it a WTF moment? Well if you are one of the very few that played the game, you'll definitely have found yourself asking "WTF am I wasting my time on this garbage for?"...
