Post-nuclear RPGs do often have a tendency to do well. So when the official sequel to 1988's Wasteland began its Kickstarter campaign in march 2012 with a target of $900,000, it's no surprise that figure was passed within 43 hours. The final total total stood at a massive $2.9 million. Wasteland 2 received mostly very good reviews, with the combat and writing being singled out as the title's best elements. In the first four days of its release the game generated an amazing $1.5 million of revenue.
