11. Flashback: The Quest for Identity

What do you get when you cross The Prince of Persia with Another World? One of the best cinematic action-platformers of the era, that€™s what. Flashback took the rotoscope animation seen in both games, and improved upon it tenfold. The story sees protagonist, Conrad B. Hart, trying to discover who he is and what the hell€™s going on. Flashback had some great puzzles, but like so many graphically demanding Amiga games, it didn€™t last very long. Despite its shortness, the game was still an amazing experience, especially as this was a time when cinematic cutscenes were revered, and Flashback had bucketloads of them
