20 Greatest PC Games Of All Time

16. Football Manager 2014

Who knew managing spreadsheets could be so fun? The Football Manager series has the bizarre ability of sucking players in and never letting them go, regardless of whether they're familiar with the offside rule or not. Putting you in the shoes of, you guessed it, the manager of a football club, the games follow your journey in either leading your team to glory, or being disgraced into an early retirement. The Football Manager games are as complex as they are surprisingly easy to get into, and we never realised how sucked into a fake sporting match we could be. Football Manager 2014 is here to represent the series as a whole, as each subsequent game has fairly consistently improved on the last, as well as featuring updated players and tables. Even if you're not a sporting fan, Football Manager 2014 is an incredibly absorbing game, and its enthusiasts are often known for playing little else beyond the series.
