A work of warped genius from Tim Schafer and the Double Fine team, Psychonauts offers easily one of the best video game narratives of all time. Critics agreed, and Psychonauts received rave reviews from release and made it to the top of several 'Best of 2005' lists. It turns out the general population is made up of clueless buffoons though, because it sold under 100,000 copies during its first year. Sales were so bad, that publisher Majesco decided to withdraw from big budget publishing altogether.
