20 Greatest Zombie Games Ever

18. ZombiU

Developer: Ubisoft Montpellier Released: 2012 Platform: Wii U ZombiU felt like a sincere attempt to prove that the Wii U wasn't just another family console from Nintendo, and that it was also catering to the gaming hardcore. That idea fell flat on its face though, when ZombiU was a commercial failure, with no plans for a sequel from Ubisoft. It's a shame, because ZombiU was a solid game with some interesting ideas. For example, when looting you would actually look down onto the Wii U's tablet as if looking down into a backpack or drawer. It also looked great, with a gritty visual style that perfectly captured a post-apocalyptic London. Most of all, it made fantastic use of the Wii U hardware, giving it a style of gameplay that is unlikely to ever be replicated again.
