10. You Can Breed A Whale With A Kitten...
Wailord, being based on the blue whale, is the largest Pokémon in the games. It's so big that it's a surprise it needs to battle at all - it could simply squash anything that dares oppose it.
Famously, or perhaps infamously, Wailord is in the same egg group as Skitty, meaning that they can mate and produce an egg if left at the day care. That's right - a gigantic whale is somehow able to mate with a tiny cat.
Less famously though, Wailord is also in the same egg group as Diglett - a tiny 20cm tall mole, even smaller than Skitty. Yes, that means that they can also breed together to produce eggs, and no, nobody knows exactly how that's going to work.
