3. Sami Zayn/Sir Arthur (Ghosts N' Goblins)

A bit of a gift from the gods, this one. Arthur is the main character in the classic Ghosts N€™ Goblins series, a brave, adventurous knight who ventures into Hell to save the princess. Unlike in today€™s gaming world, with its power-ups and armour and health energy bars that tick down with damage taken, Arthur could take just two shots: one killed his armour, and the other killed him. That made for some difficult, if not, frustrating gameplay - but the challenge was one that players of the time were happy to accept. Courageous everyman babyface Sami Zayn never seems to catch a break either, and every match has its challenges for him: but he always rises to the top. He€™s a hero who has to work for every victory, and each win means just that little bit more as a consequence. That€™s the storytelling out of the way - now just look at his ginger beardy face! Sir Arthur is so clearly a slightly scowlier version of Sami, and Sami€™s the grinning Canadian version of Arthur. If Arthur could skank, and Sami wrestle in plate armour, they€™d be twins.
