The Horizon series may sound like something an eight year old scrawled on the back of a napkin in the middle of a sugar rush ("It's the future! But like The Flintstones! With robot dinosaurs! And lasers!"), but Guerrilla Games turned that premise into one of the best new IPs of the past decade.
The Horizon games have always been technical showcases, and the chance to immerse ourselves in its beautiful, doomed world through VR is a genuinely thrilling prospect. Not least because we can't imagine how our stomachs will handle facing down a Thunderjaw in first-person.
