20 Most Anticipated Video Games of 2025

Fans have been waiting 15 long years for another full-fat Fable game, and it's finally hitting in 2025. 

Though the franchise has hit some major bumps over the years and development of this reboot has taken the better part of a decade, the most recent gameplay trailer at least suggested a major leap in production values compared to the prior entries in the series.

Forza Horizon developer Playground Games looks set to reinvigorate Fable with eye-poppingly gorgeous visuals, hilarious writing, and outstanding voice acting from a top-drawer cast including beloved Brit comedians Richard Ayoade and Matt King.

Given that Microsoft is still struggling to reaffirm the Xbox brand as a fertile place for first-rate AAA offerings, Fable could be just the game-changer they so desperately need.

Fable releases sometime in 2025.
