8. Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Pokémon Legends: Z-A will almost certainly be the very first Pokémon game released on the Nintendo Switch 2, and given that recent franchise outings have struggled something fierce on the Switch's ageing hardware, thank God.
Though there's still plenty we don't know about the game, the follow-up to Legends: Arceus has been confirmed to take place entirely in Lumiose City - the locale first introduced in Pokémon X and Y.
With a Pokémon Presents event recently confirmed for February 27th, it's basically a sure thing that we'll get the release date then - especially with the high likelihood that the Switch 2 has been announced by this point.
