20 Most Anticipated Video Games of 2025

6. Split Fiction

Grand Theft Auto VI Lucia
Hazelight

A Way Out and It Takes Two developer Hazelight Studios returns with their latest co-op adventure, in which authors Zoe and Mio end up trapped inside their own stories.

With Zoe's story being fantasy-based and Mio's sci-fi-themed, players will be pinballed between levels styled in each genre, as the duo must work together, combining their unique abilities in order to avoid a grim fate.

This flavour of gameplay is clearly Hazelight's bread and butter at this point, and considering that It Takes Two won Game of the Year at the 2021 Game Awards, expectations are basically through the roof for this one.

From what little we've seen so far, it looks like an absolute blast, and one of the most purely creative games due to drop in 2025.

Split Fiction releases on March 6.
