20 Most Anticipated Video Games of 2025

Sucker Punch returns with their hotly anticipated Ghost of Tsushima sequel - a standalone follow-up set over 300 years later, revolving around female warrior Atsu who assumes the mantle of Ghost while embarking on a quest for vengeance.

What little we've seen of the game so far suggests it'll be every bit as visually stunning as its predecessor, while Sucker Punch has promised a less-linear narrative throughline, with players having more options to steer the story.

Given that the previous game offered up one of the most lavishly distinctive open worlds of the last decade, it's reasonable to expect much the same from this sequel, which shifts the action to 17th century Hokkaido.

For the great many who feel that Sony haven't been putting out enough first-party AAA content as of late, this action extravaganza should hopefully sate them for a good while.
