16. Door, Meet Theseus' Head - God Of War II

Pick any boss's name out of a hat and you can probably make a case for why they're the most intense in all of God of War. It's not like the series deals in anything less than balls-to-the-wall viscera and musclebound brutality.

Still, there's rarely anything more pure, teehee'ing, "I'm being such a dick" evil than ramming a guy's head into a doorframe, over and over... and over again.

Sony Santa Monica clearly recognised this too, as upon getting Theseus down to enough health, Kratos will jam his bonce in the door as a big ol' circle prompt pops up on screen. The faster you hit the button the more Kratos will crunch his dome into a fine paste.

It's deliciously dark and comically hilarious - kind of the perfect encapsulation of why we all fell in love with this franchise in the first place.
