13. Slowking
Right off the bat, Slowking has one weakness that can always prove to be crucial in competitive battling; as the name suggests, this thing is almightily slow. Slowking carries one of the lowest Speed stats of any Pokémon in the games.
It does make up for this with great stats across all attacking and defensive areas, but a recent change has meant that there is a far better alternative to this Pokémon not too far removed. With the introduction of the Mega Evolutions with Generation Six, Slowbro is now a much better option than Slowking.
On its own Slowbro's base stats are broadly similar to Slowking's and, since Water/Psychic can be a very useful type combination, the benefit of calling on the Mega Evolution to boost the stats is a major benefit. Slowking is being left in the dust by its bro these days.
