Released almost a year ago, Titanfall didn't quite meet the lofty expectations fans put on its broad mech shoulders, but it still announced the next gen with some serious style.

And yet the game was mechanically great and a visual treat; looking up into the sky and watching your Titan fall was one of the first great moments of the Xbox One.
