20 Most Underrated Open-World Video Games Of The Decade (So Far)

14. Ori & The Blind Forest

Ori & and the Blind Forest
MOON Studios

An absolute stunner from front to back, Ori & the Blind Forest is one of the best games on the Xbox One, period. Playing as the titular Ori, you're plunged into a gorgeously hand-drawn world of Studio Ghibli-esque monsters and luscious environments.

Across the game you'll slowly unlock a variety of abilities that can be used to open up different parts of the map, but the really unique game mechanics come with 'cashing in' your own energy bar to make a custom checkpoint. This way you can dictate the challenge of the game somewhat, creating one-button restarts for any particularly troubling platforming sections.

Crafted by a number of teams around the world all working under the banner of 'MOON Studios', Ori is a wondrously spectral adventure that's as magical as it is occasionally heartbreaking.
