20 Most Underrated Pokémon In History
5. Cradily
Cradily and its pre-evolved form may be two of the most unsettling looking Pokémon ever, but there is something quite charming about those revived from the Root Fossil. Along with this, Cradily can actually be surprisingly useful, too.
Its dual type of Rock/Grass is pretty unique, so it only suffers less than a handful of typing weaknesses. Its base stats are also very impressive across the board, save for a Speed stat that is expectedly low for a Rock Type Pokémon.
The moves it learns by level up are so diverse that Cradily is another excellent choice as a versatile battler. If you're looking for another power hitter, EV training toward accentuating Ancient Power and Energy Ball is the way to go. If not, you can make Cradily a tough cookie with supporting or ability affecting moves like Confuse Ray or Gastro Acid. The latter is particularly useful, given how important abilities are becoming as new ones continue to get added with new generations.
