2. Devolver Digital's INSANE E3 Conferences
Easily the most entertaining aspect of recent E3 years has been the hilariously irreverent conferences from publisher Devolver Digital.
Since 2017, Devolver has prepared a pre-recorded satirical conference which takes aim at both the self-effacing nature of E3 itself and the various predatory practises employed by video game publishers.
With a genuinely fascinating narrative and a terrific recurring performance from Mahria Zook as Devolver's "chief synergy officer" Nina Struthers, the Devolver conferences have been a major breath of fresh air compared to some of E3's more self-serious stage shows.
No matter what happens with E3 next year, hopefully Nina will be back for another demented go-around.
