One major thing working in this game's favour will be lowered expectations, because it sure as Hell won't arrive on the same tidal wave of hype as the original Destiny, which scored a fairly underwhelming 76.
Destiny 2 should bring some gameplay overhauls that fans and critics complained about the first time, but don't expect it to be Earth-shatteringly different considering that the original was such a huge financial success.
A major bone of contention will of course be whether characters will in fact transfer over between games, but either way, this one's likely to pull solid reviews if still not reach the series' huge potential.
