20 Predictions For 2017 Video Games' Metacritic Scores
13. South Park: The Fractured But Whole (87)
South Park: The Stick of Truth scored 82-85 upon release, and it's reasonable to expect much more from this follow-up, which takes aim at the superhero genre while seeming to fix many of the original game's nagging issues.
First and foremost, combat seems to be much more intricate, and Ubisoft has promised that the RPG mechanics will be more intricate, considering how piecemeal they felt in the first game.
Plus, the superhero satire looks absolutely hilarious, and if The Fractured But Whole can capture the same riotous vibe of the first game (and indeed the TV show), it's sure to be one of the year's best games, and certainly its funniest.
