Disney just never gets old. Warming the hearts of millions for years on end, the magical mouse has made something for everyone over the years - from Olympian feats of strength in Hercules, to flying carpet adventures in Aladdin - and with Kingdom Hearts, you can actually play alongside them yourself.

Games are designed to give you a personalised, indulgent experience of whatever world a creator puts at your fingertips: but to be able to engage with something as broad as Disney is just as special now as the game was upon release.

Whilst there’s been some issues and fixes with Kingdom Hearts over the years (the adaptation of the games into 1.5 and 2.5 to collect together some of the franchises best moments into easy bundles, for example), there’s still nothing quite like it in terms of adapting such a broad scope of media into one big playable series.

Watching Donald Duck beat the sh*t out the forces of evil is always a good time.
