8. Braska's Final Aeon (Final Fantasy X)
Square EnixHas any character ever been so open about their daddy issues as Tidus in Final Fantasy X? He spends an amazing amount of time openly hating his father over the course of the game, blaming him for just about everything wrong in his life. Even when his father, Jecht, turns out to now be a giant, hulking, world-destroying beast named Sin, Tidus still manages to make it all about him. Does Spira not have therapists or something? Braska's Final Aeon is the final embodiment of Jecht within Sin; and defeating him is required to finally put Sin to rest permanently. He's actually not the final boss of the game (Yu Yevon is; it's massively disappointing actually) but he feels like he should be; the battle arena is set in some awesome looking ruins; it's a pretty tough fight if you haven't power-levelled your way through the game - and a heavy metal track plays throughout, just to add to the insanity a touch more. Plus, just look at him! He's like something out of a crazy rock music video. Braska's Final Aeon is a rewarding fight which will challenge you and also allow you to say farewell to one of Final Fantasy X's most memorable supporting characters. After all, challenging your issues head on is the best form of therapy there is, even if they're giant demons with furry collars.
