20 Severely Underrated Pokémon That Deserve A Second Chance

16. Emolga

Snorlax Y/Y
The Pokémon Company

Often dismissed as being nothing more than an attempted Pikachu clone, Emolga gets nowhere near as much credit as it deserves. If nothing else, its unique Electric/Flying type combination is worth note because it allows each half to cancel out a major weakness of the other. As a result, Emolga has very few type weaknesses.

Emolga is also in a fairly quick growth category, making it very easy to train. Its base Speed stat makes it - excuse the pun - lightning fast, while both Special Attack and Attack stats are good enough to help make the most of both Electric or Flying type moves.

Emolga is a great combo Pokémon to have in your team if you're looking to cover multiple bases.
