12. We Have To Dig Through Countless Fake Minecraft Rip-Offs
When something is popular, there's always going to be fakes made of it to cash in on the craze. The most dangerous place for parents is the App Store, a wild west where anyone can upload more or less anything. Its a mine field of fake Minecraft games all waiting to infect your phone with intrusive popups, and if your phone doesn't have parental locks activated you can end in way over your head. 11. Knockoffs Aren't Exclusive To The Virtual Marketplace
Go into any store and head to the toy section. Without fail you will find an entire shelf dedicated to toys that look an awful lot like Minecraft, but aren't. These "not Minecraft" toys are so popular they even show up in commercials on cable TV. May God have mercy on you if you accidentally buy one instead of an actual Minecraft toy though. Even worse, most of them are identical in price to the genuine article. If you're going to screw us over, at least give us a little bit of a break.
