17. Keys! Glorious Keys!
Unfortunately, in the later games keys became all too easy to find, which sadly dented the survival aspect of the horror survival games that Resident Evil are meant to be. Gone are the days when the player encountered locked doors that they had to go on an adventure, usually with a puzzle and a handful of zombies thrown in, to retrieve the key. In honesty, the puzzle aspect of the franchise has died out in favour of action based entertainment, so if you fancy some key-based entertainment, its time to go old school.
