21 Confirmed Video Games We Can't Wait To See At E3 2015
14. Star Wars Battlefront
The pairing of EA and one of the most beloved franchises of all time is only going to go one way; the former is going to milk it for all it's worth come December, but just how badly that gets is still up for speculation. So far we know the rebooted Battlefront is multiplayer-only with four planets (one of which is a deluxe bundle pack-in), already losing a few thousand potential investors as some people quite simply just don't want to play online. Outside of that the graphics look absolutely spectacular, utilising The Vanishing of Ethan Carter's photogrammetry technique to take actual real world props and locations, scan them into the game and render additional detail on top, creating one hell of a comparative look to the sets of the original trilogy. What fans are looking forward to for E3 is just to see things in motion, to get a feel for how intrusive the microtransaction elements may be - and overall for those initially very put off by the networked nature of the experience, if there's anything left to get excited about.
