Back in the day no one could resist the pure chaos and fun of the Block Fort battle level on Mario Kart 64. Its four multi-coloured keeps encouraged €œthis is my land, get out!€ style play, and the no-mans-land below was ruthless, quickly filling up with rioting red and green shells that bounced off the walls, destroying anyone who dared tumble from the safety of the castles above. As we rode forth on our rickety little karts with three balloons in tow, signifying the life we had left to spare, we were truly happy. Truly happy that is, until someone got hold of a Super Star and started tearing their way towards you with a grin as wicked as the devil plastered upon their face.
