21 Video Games We'd Put On A Mini PS1

1. Final Fantasy VII

It may not be your favourite Final Fantasy, but there's no denying the lasting impact Final Fantasy VII had on the genre, and gaming, as a whole.

FFVII took the series straight from its top-down roots into a sprawling 3D adventure for the very first time. It boasted a then unprecedented amount of cutscenes, a huge world to explore and three PS1 discs packed full of content.

On top of that, FFVII has a truly excellent storyline, a fantastic villain, a memorable cast of characters, a super-rewarding battle system and a collection of the most addictive minigames ever created (you know you've all spent far too long feeding those Moogles nuts).

To not include this game in the mini PS1 collection would be sacrilege. Of course honourable mentions must also go out to FFVIII and IX, both excellent games in their own right (but perhaps without the massive impact VII had).
