11. Ubisoft Tried To Turn E3 Into A Concert (Again)

This year it was Jason DeRulo trotted out in front of the world's gaming press, as he worked his way through a rendition of his apparent hit song "Want To Want Me" for what seemed like an interminable length of time. You just have to wonder who this segment was aimed at: 60-year-old shareholders have no interest in this sort of thing, most of the gaming press want to see people actually talking about games, and tweens don't watch video game press conferences. It was thoroughly cringe-worthy just like it is every year, as Ubisoft apparently never learn that people don't really care for this nonsense. Plus, the Just Dance games always sell like hotcakes and there's not much to them: do they really need to waste valuable conference time with it?
