22 Biggest Disappointments Of E3 2016

8. The Lack Of A Square Enix Conference

If there's any publisher that desperately could've made use of an E3 conference this year, it was Square Enix. Considering that fans are eager to learn more about the Final Fantasy 7 remake and Kingdom Hearts 3, not to mention have their fears quelled over the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, this would've been the perfect stage to do it.

Perhaps this was Square tacitly admitting that the former two games are still a while off, and it seemed too early to re-introduce them. As for Final Fantasy XV, the fanbase will lap it up even if it's terrible, so the marketing department spinning their wheels at this point probably isn't too problematic.

Still, they have so many big projects in the making that even just an hour of gameplay clips would've made for a pretty enjoyable conference.
