6. Few Games Released Immediately After Conferences
There's been an increasing trend over the last few years for at least a few indie games to get released immediately after an E3 conference, and it's always a fun surprise as it's usually a game we've not heard of before.
This year saw Ubisoft's Trials of the Blood Dragon released straight after their show, but on the whole, the immediate releases were limited to, for example, a beta of Halo Wars 2 and a demo for Resident Evil 7.
Sure, nobody was expecting them to just drop The Last Guardian on PSN out of nowhere, but developers should embrace how much gamers love an instant game release with no hype or wait. It makes E3 so much more exciting and unpredictable.
