The gameplay footage we saw of Ubisoft's new extreme sports IP Steep certainly looked impressive and promising, but there's one big problem: we still don't really know what it is.

Yes, you can explore the Alps and race against your pals, but what else is there to actually make the game worth a full-priced retail purchase?

What's been shown so far doesn't seem hugely populated in terms of content, especially as Ubisoft didn't do a terrific job of playing-up the scale or really explaining the bulk of the game.

It's still an intriguing title, but one that needs some elaboration in the near-future, especially with its release planned for December.
