14. Quake Champions Won't Be On Consoles
Bethesda kicked off their conference with a bang by revealing a new Quake game, Quake Champions. The crowd were naturally electric, and though there was no gameplay revealed, it was a cause for celebration...at least for the PC crowd.
Console gamers sadly won't be able to get their hands on the new Quake because it's going to be a PC exclusive, which in this day and age seems fairly ridiculous.
The reason for this is likely that Bethesda revealed that the game will run at 120hz with an unlocked frame-rate, which is obviously extremely crucial for the competitive scene, and consoles simply won't be able to promise anywhere near that.
Even so, it's a damn shame and a weird stance to take for such a popular property.
