14. Bulletstorm

Bulletstorm is downright silly; a game that doesn't care whether you like it or not to an almost provocative extent. Everything about it is ridiculous and designed to offend, including the violence, which is so exaggerated that it is impossible not to laugh.

It places heavy emphasis on skillshots, in which you attempt to kill the enemy in increasingly over the top and bizarre ways. Some, such as headshots, are simple, but that's as basic as it gets. You can shoot a man through the testicles, fire an exploding round up someone's backside, kick him onto spikes, and burn his flesh off his bones. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Other games with Bulletstorm's outrageous violence and self-awareness have come and gone, but this one stands out for its quality and quantity of both.
