Throughout all of his various incarnations, Link has been the embodiment of a hero. Beginning from humble origins, Link is thrust onto the path of the hero's journey, embracing his destiny to fight back against the evils that threaten his land.

Wielding the Master Sword, Link uses his proficiency with a blade to hold his own against the villainous Ganondorf and an assortment of menacing monsters. During his journeys he can't help but go out of his way to aid those in need, especially Princess Zelda, whom he cares deeply for.

Link is as brave as he is compassionate; wise as he is spry. He wields immense power but never uses it to advance any selfish agenda or harm an innocent. He is one of the most popular, iconic, and recognizable figures in video game history, and rightfully so. It doesn't get much more virtuous or innocent than Link.
