25 Mind-Blowing Things You Didn't Know About Resident Evil

13. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Has SIX Cuts Every Second

Cuts in movies are generally quite innocuous. The camera switching between speakers, for example, is so routine that we don't tend to pick up on it.

By contrast, the last of Anderson's films has such a ridiculous amount of cuts I'm surprised it hasn't earned a Guinness World Record for it.

A single punch will switch angles about five times. Alice running at the back of a vehicle switches its perspective more times than it needs to.

Everything in this movie moves at such an insane pace that its headache-inducing. On average, there are six cuts per second across a roughly hour and a half movie. Which is mad, excessive and painful to watch.

Just stop after Retribution and imagine that Leon, Ada and Jill didn't die off-screen.
