For all the waves the original Manhunt made - becoming so controversial it was even involved in a real-life murder case - the sequel pretty much just came and went. Parent groups got angry, FOX news whipped up their best 'Violence = Harmful Youth' infographics and many retailers refused to stock it. Then we all played it, realised it was actually a damn fine game with a killer twist, and went about our way.

Manhunt 2 took everything that was so gleefully enjoyable about bludgeoning the opposition with an assortment of melee weapons and amped it up by a factor of ten, resulting in a stealth title that's every bit as tense and rewarding as its controversial original.
