Whilst its legacy as an addictive puzzler of the highest order stands unquestioned, Tetris is still probably better known for its memorable soundtrack. Though that's certainly a great part of the experience, Alexey Pajitnov's puzzle masterpiece is still probably the best puzzle game ever made - not something to be said flippantly. Your mission, of course, is to guide an endless stream of coloured blocks - which come at you in a variety of different shapes - to the bottom of the screen, whereupon its your job to organise them into a way that allows you to proceed to the next level. There's something immortal about Tetris; there's good reason why it captivated - and continues to captivate - gamers in their millions.
