1. Great Games Are Still Coming To the 360/Ps3
Here is a truth that is music to any gamer's ears. There are still great games yet to come to our current consoles. Now, I know I talked about waiting, but that's easier said than done. Let me layout the plan to help you wait that year. Right now, you probably pre-ordered a console. You got the money set aside for every accessory you want and every game. That's a lot of money isn't? What if I told you didn't have to spend it all? Or spend it all and get the most out of it? AC4, Watch Dogs, GTA V, CoD Ghosts, Batman Arkham Origins. These games listed are games we all heard of and most likely, want. They're also coming to the next gen consoles as well as the current ones. Origins and GTA V are only coming to the current gen. Having at least TWO of these games and fully exploring them, will easily take a few months. Add DLC and multiplayer(if it's good) and a year is much more achievable. Yes, every game listed has multiplayer. If you plan on getting ALL of these games, you'll almost forget about the XB1/PS4. These games will also be available during holiday season so no problems with schedule. We want gameplay over graphics so not "experiencing" the next-gen graphics shouldn't be an issue. Now if none of these games interest you, there are plenty more coming and both companies made it clear that their objective is NOT to get rid of their current consoles. It also gives time for any bugs the next-gen games have. Titanfall and Destiny are taking a MMO approach and while this sounds good on paper but I think it will be harder to actually execute. I can see many crashes, glitches, hacks, etc. in these games. The first players will no doubt be beta-testers whether they like it or not. Also, don't some of the exclusives look a tad boring? Ryse looks like a huge QTE-driven game and The Order looks like it's technological twist will end up just a gimmick. How come their guns are advanced and yet they rode by carriage? So spare yourself that pain and cancel those pre-orders and hold on to your current console a little longer. Well, there you have it folks. Do you agree with my madness? Or am I another raving fanboy? Let me know in the comments below.
