Because Breaking Bad is a show too awesome (and lucrative) to simply let go of, series creator Vince Gilligan has come up with Better Call Saul, a prequel series which focuses on Walter White's hilariously unscrupulous lawyer Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and the cases he takes on. Set in 2002, it will also see the return of Jonathan Banks as the late Mike Ehrmantraut, while single-episode appearances by major Breaking Bad characters haven't been totally ruled out either. Odenkirk is superb in the role, but it remains to be seen whether or not he can sustain an entire show by himself, especially considering that the tone of the series is reportedly "85% drama, 15% comedy", which is very much the inverse of what many people expected. Still, any Breaking Bad fan worth their salt will be there day one to see what's been cooked up, good or bad.
