Reportedly shifting the tone to be less grimdark and incorporate more humour, there's a lot of hope that the fifth DCEU movie might finally course-correct what has been a rather underwhelming undertaking so far.

It certainly has a lot on its plate what with needing to properly introduce Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), not to mention the villainous Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds) and the return of the resurrected Superman (Henry Cavill).

Rumours have swirled in recent weeks that the film is a mess, but of course, we'll have to wait for that 24% Rotten Tomatoes score ourselves...
