28. Horizon Zero Dawn (Feb 28)
The latest IP from Guerrilla Games (Killzone) is by far one of 2017's most-hyped games, an open-world action RPG where the player controls a human, Aloy, as she traverses a post-apocalyptic environment overrun by robotic dinosaur-like creatures.
Though a lot of questions about the game still remain up in the air (namely whether it will accommodate that open world with interesting things and whether or not the story will actually be fleshed-out), the visuals look gorgeous and it certainly looks set to be one of the year's most ambitious titles.
Still, it's probably wise to wait for reviews before sinking your cash, because we learned something from No Man's Sky, right?
