Goof Troop is one of the great SNES sleeper hits - Capcom's experimental use of the Disney license pays off here.
Despite being a rather simplistic puzzle game, Goof Troop has a number of qualities which endear itself to the player. The design is brilliant, the co-operative puzzles demand teamwork and the game's level of challenge is just about right.
Bizarrely, it also has ties to Resident Evil; both were designed by Shinji Makami and many have cited Goof Troop as the first game to feature some now typical survival horror elements - it's worth playing just to see these tenuous links.
