30 Classic SNES Games You Must Play Before You Die
2. Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts
Capcom brought Arthur and the Ghosts 'n Goblins series onto the SNES with Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, adding a bunch of new features but keeping the highly addictive side-scrolling gameplay intact.
The game gave Arthur the ability to Double Jump, forging a whole bunch of new platform puzzles designed to acquaint the player with the ability. Fans familiar to the series were right at home here - watching Arthur running around his underwear is still the best notification of low health in any game ever.
Interestingly, as is typical with the series, the true ending to the game is only obtained after a second playthrough - good job the game is a stonewall classic then.
